I’ve always been a huge fan of Star Wars. I love all the movies and John Williams was my big inspiration to be a film composer when I was growing up! I was particularly inspired by him and listened to his music over and over. When I saw him in the special features of Revenge of the Sith back in 2005, I wanted to do film scoring too.

So as it’s May the 4th, I decided to do a Star Wars one! I thought the main title would be the best choice for this as it’s the classic Star Wars theme.

This is the one from the very first movie back in 1977. Now that seems a long time ago because it was 15 years before I was born! The music is from the main title crawling text and then where Princess Leia’s spacecraft is pursued by the star destroyer. Very cool, very exciting music!

There were a few challenges to this, some tricky parts in the right hand that I had to learn. Had to get it the way the strings originally played it.

So I hope you enjoy the Star Wars theme by John Williams, everyone!

Thank you to my Patreon supporters for voting for Star Wars as as my video! Patrons receive my sheet music and Mp3s and can vote on my next video.
